G.I.G
Okay, I just got a call from a crusade staff just now... well, according to her, she saz my name was volunteered by another staff who felt i could be a G.I.G leader... hmph... i so low profile, wonder who will know me except my DG mates... anyway G.I.G stands for Group Investigating God...
so basically, wat the leader do is commit the semester to a small group of non-believers and well, share with them about Christ... so basically, its time management again... and knowing me, i dun like to mix wif ppl de lah... so how? she wants an answer on thurs... so i now super stunned...
esp, now got quite alot of new challenges coming up in church; i put down sunday school le... still got so many things... wow... lets see what i am doing in church...
ok, im not showing off... but i need to weigh my committments and responsibilities so i wont overwork myself n forget the real meaning behind all these servings...
1) Sundae school teacher - now step down for a yr... okay got abt half a yr le... but im afraid they might get me back again next yr... what's my fear: facing all these strange kids... okok, they are not strange, in fact they are sooooo cute... but preparation work is tough and have to rack my brains to think of ways to teach them coz i alwasz want to make things interesting... then i dun really want to prepare sloppy work...
2)being in fellowship - in the evangelistic grp, now focus is on the gospel rally... so got to prepare some stuff... then... dunno which nice soul might be "nice" enough n volunteer me in for next committee... hopefully no loz...
3)congregation pianist - now that SY no lead le... i take over playing as well... although dun need to prepare... but hmph... the job is there loz...
4) choir conductor - got to prepare the songs beforehand, look through how i want to handle them and how to improve the choir... and the minute matters like late comings lah n stuff
on top of all these...
i got
1) school - which is starting soon
2) singing lessons - need to practise, otherwise what's the point of going classes
3) i might pick up piano again... this time round, jazz piano classes
4) i was thinking of joining an outside choir... coz now i drop band le... i want to pick up choir, partly of interest and partly... see if i can pick up tips to help the church choir...
and of coz, the G.I.G thing... so,
should i do it?
if anyone kind enuff to give suggestions.... that is, if the person read finish this thing
