my first driving lesson
wow!
u know, i was so worried and nervous... because i really really really got this terrible phobia abt driving... =( then after reading wat kangling wrote on her blog abt her first driving lesson... i even more gan chong... dunno wat to expect... keep telling jy, i have this fear of the "unknown", i so slow and stupid, co-ordination oso so bad, then if i suay, the instructor super bad mood how?
arrived at the cdc half an hr earlier than the lesson time... then when 4.25 came, argh... what do i do? no idea! do i continue to sit there and wait for him to get me or do i need to go search for my car? so i decided to search for my car... my car no... is 132... not the plate no... although i remb the plate no. is 7126... wat alphabet i forgot liao... search the whole place still cant find my car... ahhh... panicked... what do i do? waste time searching for a stupid car... getting more nervous somemore...
finally found the car... hmph... cant really judge if tat fellow at the wheel looks friendly... but sorta remb tat his other fellow mates was whistling away at him... what it means? i pretty? LOL, or "oh, u got a gal"?, or wat... anyway, doesn't matter... hope on the car... he sounds awkward... ask him if i put my bag at the back... he was like..."eh... ya... ok"...
haha... see him like abt jy's size... abit taller than me... but waw... super talkative and friendly... makes one very comfortable... and he v. humorous... so i keep joking around... todae revised the basics loz... like what's the speedometer lah, wiper lah... horn lah... blah blah...u know lah...
i was much worried abt the clutch, dunno if i can find the biting point anot... thank goodness... his instructions very clear... so got it the first time... so waw... the car started moving sia... so move front... then reverse... reverse only got one try nia....
then he tok abt the exterior of the car... machan like selling car sia... i dint know the bonnet so damn heavy sia... argh... cant even lift that thing...
i oso too short lah... the sterling wheel block my front view... so must sit cushion...lol...
then we went to the circuit... dint exactly go into the parking lah... just circling around the outside... so keep going in circles... waw, first time, i dint feel dizzy, coz attention all on the road le... then drive so long, then realised never put seat belt... arghh... so dangerous...
my bends are still not so nice... when turn back into straight road always out of alignment... he saz my expectations too high le lah... first lesson want to perfect le ah... then another problem is stopping the car correctly, coz engine alwayz stall, keep forgetting to step the clutch...first reaction is to step brake le... lol... kiasu...
very fun lah... cant stop talking abt it... addicted to driving le... hahaha... he saz for a first-timer, my braking skills quite gd, at least i dint jam brake...so the car dun jerk...
i hope the following lessons all very fun... lol
oh yah, tat instructor, his name is peter tay...
just in case, i want to book him...lol
todae's yang ting bdae... actually wanted to get him a book b4 i go for driving... but guess i too kan chong le... so very kiasu want to get to the cdc... in the end, got him a bk at true-vine... i tot the book not bad...
gc couldnt make it for practice coz he got meeting... so as usual i play, then kl lead... but hoz... aiyoh... everybody oso not here except we three... so we saw no pt... then may as well go celebrate yt's bdae...
feel quite bad... keep insisting he treat us...
he chose swensen's... then go there eat chef's salad... aiyoh... kl felt bad... saz issit he dunwan waste $... then end up eat salad... but i said the salad is really nice there... anyway, when ivy n her frens saz want to join us then yt saz he treat... we saz aiyah, we treat him lah... then the rest of the ppl pay themselves... in the end, oso only left 3 of us... then yt seeing that we treat, hahaha, he ordered salmon...lol... dunno issit health-conscious or $-conscious... hahaha, anyway... its ok... it's his bdae lah...
kl got quite alot of food.... much more than me coz she got rice... i already v full le... waw, she got baked rice, ice-cream, sprite, soup, and yoghurt... bloated loz...
anyway, all well ends well... going to mug maple liao...muawahahaha
