New Year Day
It's a brand new year!
So what's my new year resolution?
Hmmm, actually, I haven't thought of it ... =) Hope I can graduate in one piece? *lol*
Maybe be a prim-and-proper adult ba...
I will be graudating this year, that is, if nothing goes wrong. Keep feeling that I've calculated my modules wrongly, keep feeling that I have miss out some modules not done. Anyway, time really passes so fast. I am actually putting an end to my 14 years of education. Can you believe it? I'm actually going to help pay for the family expenses.
I would like to save enough so that my mom can go for her pottery classes, so that my sister can go for school trips, so that the family can go for trips.
But looking at many people around me, I'm sorta worried about not being able to find a job. My department of studies actually offer a general field to work in. Basically, we are so general that we can work anyway. But I don't want to do business, no insurance, no sales, no marketing, no teaching, hmm... that leaves me with?... ... Not much basically. That's one thing about Singapore. We are so small, so the country needs to keep up technologically and with the Science. There's not much room for arts-related subjects. I like to travel around the world, to sight-see... to understand the cultures... but I'm terrible at anthropology... arghh...
Anyway, I was thinking I'm going to try to apply for a post at MCYS, if not WorldVision, but I just found out that WorldVision requires experienced employees... so there goes... probably got to work at NLB.
Anyway, its a long weekend. For people who are working, its definitely a good long break. But for people like me, I'm just bored to death.
Been raining for most parts of the day, feeling cold... brrbrr...
Went to church today, for normal bilingual service, nothing special about today.
Feeling tired, still sick from flu... and still feeling abit itchy, so that's how rashes feel... argh... disgusting!
